About the Recipe
I'm pretty sure we've all savored the tastes of peanut butter cups. There's a reason they are still around! Well these bars about as close as you can get to eating one without the unwrapping! I cannot tell you how many trays of these have been consumed in my house but...let's just say I've gained some weight. HA!
These can be done with as much variety as peanut butter cups! Change out your chocolate for dark, white, milk and make all your dreams come true! Easy to make in bulk for special events too!

Ingredients
Peanut Butter Layer
1 cup creamy peanut butter (or crunchy if you wanna get wild)
Chocolate Topping
2 c semisweet chocolate (chopped in small pieces or chips)
1/3 cup peanut butter
Preparation
Peanut Butter Layer:
Prep a 9x12 in pan by lining it with plastic wrap or parchment paper.
Stir together (or use a mixer) graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter confectioners' sugar, and melted butter.
Press into the bottom of the pan, making sure to press it down and flatten the top.
Chocolate layer
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in the microwave, in increments of 15 seconds, stirring when they start to soften.
Spread the chocolate over the peanut butter layer and smooth the top.
Refrigerate for one hour
Remove from the pan with the plastic wrap attached and place on a cutting board.
Cut into squares using a lightly oiled knife.
NOTES:
*I prefer a large layer of chocolate on top, as long as you keep the ratios you can adjust this according to your liking!
